A tape-in is a thin, flat weft of hair with a tape bond along one edge. Two of these singles are placed either side of a fine section of your own hair and pressed together, so your natural hair sits sandwiched between them. Nothing is glued, heated or braided into your hair.
They are the most comfortable method we fit. The bond is flat rather than bulky, so it lies against the scalp instead of standing away from it, and the weight is spread along the width of the tape rather than pulling on a single point. We use 3cm bonds, which are smaller and more flexible again.
Yes. With proper care the hair can be re-taped and refitted several times, which is what makes tape-ins good value over a full year rather than a single fitting.
